Hola amigos! My name is Alejandra, and I am hopelessly in love with Tenerife. I have been besotted with this tiny island ever since I first felt the black sands of Los Gigantes beach between my toes.
What makes this hunk of land in the Atlantic so obsession-worthy, you ask? More so than the other similarly attractive islands in the region?
Well, there’s the year-round warm weather, the drop dead gorgeous sunsets from volcano Mount Teide (don’t worry, the only thing exploding around here is the hearts of the travellers who have seen all this beauty), the diverse wildlife, the friendly locals, and of course, the mouth-watering local cuisine. (Since we’re on the topic – I often think about papas arrugadas con mojo rojo at night in bed. That’s totally normal, right?).
In honour of said crazy teenage-esque infatuation, I created this blog to share all of my thoughts, and experiences on the Island.
Having explored much of Tenerife – including trips to many of the secret remote locations – I hope to provide you with all the best tips and insider information to ensure your time here is as captivating as mine.
